Matthew Shoichi Wilder is a Tokyo-born cinematographer based in Los Angeles.

 

He has photographed numerous documentaries, music videos, short films, and television shows including Magnolia Bloom, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and The Jewel Thief, available on Hulu.

 

Matthew is a graduate of Columbia University and USC's School of Cinematic Arts MFA program. He recently won an Emmy award for his work on Artbound for PBS, and was invited to be a part of the American Society of Cinematographer's Vision program. Matthew is an active member of the Television Academy.
